Who should choose Kindle+?
- You read several ebooks a month and are happy to choose from what the catalog includes.
- You read on a Kindle e-reader. Kindle+ is built into the device and the app.
- You want to try authors without paying per book. Twenty titles at a time is a lot of room to sample.
The catch: the catalog is what Amazon includes in Kindle+, not every Kindle book, and you lose access to borrowed titles when you cancel.
Who should choose Everand?
- You want a specific new release that may not be in a borrowing catalog.
- You mostly listen. Each monthly Everand title can be an audiobook as readily as an ebook.
- You like tracking and clubs. Fable Plus comes with every Everand plan; see our book club picks for what Fable does.
The catch: you get 1, 3 or 5 titles a month by plan, so a fast reader can run out.
Do you need a reading subscription at all?
Maybe not. Libby is free with a library card and covers ebooks and audiobooks, with waitlists for popular titles. A subscription earns its price only if you read or listen at least two or three books a month. Our reading app price index lists every plan, and Kobo Plus is a third option for Kobo readers.
